for teachers...
These two cds of orchestrated miniatures are grouped into three
sections: Barre, Centre and variations. The Variations section is more
free; sometimes the music is modelled after famous composers. These
pieces are perfect for examinations and performances.
Having
accompanied classes with teachers from all over the world I have yet
to find two that teach the same way. The music is thus loosely
categorised. I would suggest listening to the entire CD and noting
which music appeals the most, or which fits the best with your
exercise. For variations in
tempo, it would be an idea to use a variable-speed CD player such as
the Denon DN-600F or the Technics SL-PD987
