Conceived intially with corporate events in mind, the Montreal Pops   is the new  kid on the block  of the Montreal musical scene.

Distinctly Montreal, distinctly Canada

Comprised  of 17 of Montreals finest, most versatile musicians, the keyword here is fun. Our ever-expanding repertoire is built around Canadian pops repertoire. From David Foster to French-flavoured material from Quebec, instrumental features, vocal features, to Symphonic Cirque. 

No formal tuxedos here!

The Montreal Pops  was created in 2002.  Yes, we do dress well, but the overall feel is light hearted. The music is all known material, especially selected, arranged and adapted for this full-sounding ensemble by Roger Hewett.

The orchestra is a combination  of a reduced classical orchestra (including a string section and percussion) complimented by a standard rhythm section and brass. The results speak for themselves...

A Multimedia Journey through the Emotions

Presented in collaboration with Sensix Communications and Events, the show can also feature large-screen projection and special effects. A feast for the eyes as well as the ears! Video presentation available upon request.
